The NPB New Private Bank Ltd. was incorporated in 2001 by the four managing partners together with a broad circle of Swiss private investors and with a fully paid-up capital of CHF 23 million. The NPB is a pure asset management bank. It is a member of the Swiss Bankers' Association.
Our philosophy
The founding partners see themselves more as entrepreneurs than as traditional bankers. The guiding principle is to act as trusted partners of our clients in order to make use of the entrepreneurial opportunities which constantly arise in today's complex and rapidly changing circumstances. They are opportunities which are available to a small, agile bank in this business - more directly, personally, flexibly and quickly.
Problems are viewed primarily from the point of view of the client, and appropriate solutions are offered in the form of customised products and services. We remain independent and rely largely on external partners which, in their own fields of activity and based on our many years of professional experience, are selected under the "best-in-class" principle and are regularly reviewed.
Outsourcing partner
We have entered into partnership with Wegelin & Co. private bankers. Established in 1741, it is the oldest bank in Switzerland and provides a guarantee of tradition, competence and professionalism.
It provides our bank with a large number of logistical services and technical know-how and therefore enables us to make use of state-of-the-art information and communication technology. Quality-assured processes provide the very highest standards of security and simultaneously the ideal platform for innovations.
This means that we are in a position to concentrate fully on the actual investment business for our clients and to process securi-ties and stock exchange transactions effectively and at low cost. In addition, we can benefit from the international banking and broker relationships which our partner bank has maintained and cultivated for many years.
